What Color Streaks Work With Red-Orange-Blonde hair?

I have natural red-orange hair, a lot like the Weasly's on Harry Potter, but with some thin blond streaks. I want to get colored streaks in my hair, I have no clue as to which colors would look good. I thought black but my friends said I'd look like a Halloween wannabe. Any suggestions?

ok so you have naturalred hair. you cant really hilight it, it usually looks best when its left alone, blonde can be ok. but leaving it natural will look best, you could get hilight and lo light close to your natural colour to make it look natural but give it some depth, some redbrown, some blonde oranges, i think thats you best option if you want them, only go a couple shades in each direction, get hi and lo lights it will look really good, your friend is right about the black though

red-orange hair is very rare but very beautiful. If you are going for a new look try and change the hair cut a bit, but if you want to change the color that's hard. If it were me I would maybe change it to strawberry blonde. But if you just want highlights maybe a light brown or a blonde or strawberry blonde. Hope it goes well!!

i would go for light blonde streaks. my friend also has red/orange hair and she got light blonde streaks.

well- blonde is the natural root to go, considering you yourself said "with some thin blond streaks"

You could add to those... make them more bold, maybe do low lights and high lights.

But it sounds to me like you are considering doing this at home- and let me tell you, highlighting- or chunking is VERY difficult to attempt at home.

Go to a proffessional.

If you don't have a lot of cash- try to look for a beauty college in your area.
