What do i tell my mom about my hair?

Ok, well i got blond highlights on brown medium hair on sunday. I hate it because the whole front part of my head looks blond, but the thing is, i went to a salon to get my highlights so it cost ALOT of money. About $130.00. After i told my mom i wanted to tone the colour down, she got very extremely mad at me because she payed so much for my highlights. I told her i could give her all the money back because i have it, but she still won't let me get a toner on my hair. I seriously can't live with this color. What should i do? What should i tell my mom to convince her to let me tone my highlights?

Go to a beauty supply store and get a toner. Tell one of the employees you want to tone the blonde down a tiny bit, they will reccomend a product. Your mom probably won't even notice. Whatever you do, don't dye over it, you will end up with really dry damaged hair.

All you have to do is wash your hair a few times a day for about a week and the color will fade alot.. That is way to expensive for high lights. If you cant stand it that much go get a dye and dye your hair back.

just do it, give her the money back, dont do anythiung silly for a while and just keep out of her way till she stops being mad.

sometimes change takes a while to adjust to. so just wait it out for like, another week and see how you feel then. you may just love your new hair!

You could get yourself a color spray that washes off when you shampoo. Its inexpensive and still can have your highlights to please your mom. At least for a while until the hightlight fades away.

to be completely honest.... i would go back into the beauty salon and tell them that you really aren't happy with the way that your hair turned out. Considering your mom paid that much for it to be done... they should be willing to work with you to make sure you are happy and return to that salon. That's exactly what I would do!
