Is there anyway i could mess up dying my hair darker?

helllllooo im dying my hair medium brown and my hair color well natural hair color is dark blond... im scared my hair will turn orangey'?? any suggestions on how not to make it athat way. and i have a scab on my head from doing a backtuck in cheerleading and im scared if i get dye in it it will stain ahah and if this does occur how might i get that dye out?? thankyouu!

If you are going to use one of those 'temporary' dyes, be careful. I have blond hair and dyed it brown and the 'temporary' dye never washed out like it was supposed to.

Hair turns orange when lightening not darkening. U only need 2 be concerned w/ red tones. If you don't want any red then u need 2 get a color that says "ash" or "cool". If u don't mind possibility of some red then go w/ "warm" or "natural". As for ur scab... the color will color the scab. No way 2 prevent it. Make sure it is completely scabbed over or wait til it heals or u will be sorry when the chemicals touch it. It'll itch during the process b/c of the peroxide but if it starts burning wash out immediately! 2 remove color from scab u can go 2 Sallys beauty supply store %26amp; get some stain remover for skin.

The only thing i could think to warn you of would be, if the ends of your hair is dry it may suck the color up more making a brown appear black on the dry est parts! As for the scab depending on where it is put a little Vaseline on it and that will keep the color from penetrating. But if its in your hair you might not want to do that because if you get the Vaseline on the hair it won't take the color leaving that spot blond.
