Which home hair colour will not go ginger or totally fade after a few washes?

and which shampoo brand to use with it!??? how long should it last?

i have tried garnier, and a few others but it allways washes out in a week or 2 which sucks! and it sometimes goes a gingery tone.

my hair is naturally a dark ash blone but i have died it since i was 10 and i'm now 16 and kinda want to go back to my natual colour or a bit darker.

at the moment my hair is a blond but it is a bit yellow

i didn't dye my hair since july 07 and then i got highlights in december 07 because my roots are coming thourgh.

home kits would be better because so much cheaper i know that hair salon colours supposedly last longer but i havve a mate and my mum that go there and it just washes out!

I like l'Oreal or Revlon. They don't wash out, and I think Pantene makes a special shampoo for dyed hair that works well.

I like the Loreal products. If you pull different colors check with Sallys supply. They help you so much. Also if you add a golden color with it. I use a med ash brown and add a gold color to it. Not very much, but it makes it look great. You can also buy the envelope of white and do your own hight lights. Lots of fun too@!!!!
