I've told two other people on here this...so here goes.
This is what I do for my curls:
First, I put defining cream in my hair (the de-frizz kind from sunsilk) when it is slightly damp. Don't towel dry it a whole lot yet.
Then I put in some mousse and work it through all my hair. You could also use gel if you like it better.
then I spray it with hairspray.
if you want to scrunch your curls, don't touch them with your hands, scrunch it with a towel. This will reduce frizz.
lastly, let it air dry.
Most importantly, DONT touch your hair until it's dry. The more you touch it the more frizz you'll create.

try using mousse or gel and then drying it upside down with a diffuser. this should dry each strand in its natural curl....with the aid of the product of course. the slow drying with out using a brush should produce the soft curls you are looking for.

set it with some hair rollers and get under a hood hair dryer

in the shower pour olive oil on you head. wash that out. blow dry your hair with a diffuser. add curling mousse by garnier. curl hair with curler.
