HA been there done that... Ok first off, if you wanna go blonde AT home, you gotta get a Highlighting kit and then put it ALL over the hair, not just highlights. Just rub it all in... You have to leave it on for the alotted time. YOu may want to put a light blonde regular hair color on it. It doesnt go orange because you didnt leave it on long enough, it goes orange because you have alot of red undertones in it, fo rinstance if you have brown hair, it naturally has either red or gold undertones. This will damage your hair though, trust me... SO if you want to get platnum blonde, Go to a salon. A GOOD hairdresser will be able to get your platnum the CORRECT way, though it may take two processes, hope this helps.. PS The girl above may mean well, but DONT put ash blonde on it, this will make it green... Not a bright green, but definatly green..... You wanna stick with the golden blondes....But I would go to the salopn and get it done... just dont take their crap about how you screwed up, you know this LOL Tell em, fix it, make it look decent and then leave it at that... usually this happens when your hair is too dark for the dye, its happened to me. what I had to do was get a frosting kit, the one that you pull your hair through the cap. Its a pain but its the only way to get the results your looking for.

I went to the hairdressers and mine went wrong going on Wednesday to sort it out, the hairdresser i normally see wasn't available and ended up looking horrific!! Like a rod steawrt lookalike but with multi colours!!!! If i was you please go to a good hairdresser and get it sorted so they can condtion it and get it to the colour you want .
