I'm dyeing my hair and not following the directions, advice?

Im planing on dying maybe half my hair purple with RAW Color semi-permanent hair dye. Im looking at the instructions and it says apply to clean dry hair, wait 15 min, rinse out.

What I want to do is apply to clean wet hair, wait maybe 2-3 hours while my hair dries and then rinse out.

Does anyone know if this will work to increase the color? Has anyone tried it? Is anyone a hair stylist or hair expert that may wat to say something? Please advise.

By the by my hair is a dirty/dark blond and I dont intend on bleaching it.

I think following the directions is your best bet.

If not you'll just end destroying your hair and possibly losing most of it.
