My hair has alot of different colors... (red highlights, alittle faded, some blond-ish highlights, faded also, and a blond patch underneath...) I want to dye it all to a toned-down eggplant color... How to do this?

Well your gonna have to start from scratch, so bleach your hair. Then you can dye any color you want over it.
Just remember to mostirize your hair reallly well so you dont damage it as much!

You should probably start from scratch. Strip all the color out and start over.

YOU HAVE TO GET RID OF ALL THE COLORS, AT LEAST AS MANY LEVELS AS YOU CAN. GO TO A BEAUTY SUPPLY AND GET IT. IT COMES IN A LIQUID FORM, ONE APPLICATION IS ENOUGH. YOU HAVE GOT TO PUT IT ON AND TO KEEP IT FOR ABOUT AN HOUR. THIS WAY ITS GONA BE EASIER FOR YOU TO GET ONE EVEN COLOR

You will need a filler on your blonde highlights and blonde patch, you probably need to remove the color from the red lowlights and possibly put a filler on that, to get them to take the color somewhat evenly. depending on what your natural color is it may not be an allover even tone.

If your hair is black then get all of it dyed and if the dye fades then get high lights of black!!
