The Blond Myth....?

Why do so many people insist that Blonds are either dumb or stupid ?...Look at the facts first...most people who are Blond (Barbie wannabees's) are usually people who started life as a Brunette and changed their hair colour, so should we not be saying in reality it is the Brunette who is dumb and stupid ?....and yes this is a question asked by a NATURAL blond %26gt;

Actually I don't judge a person by their hair color . It's so ridiculous . It really depends on the person .

Note : Most people who changed their hair color are either because they look better in that hair color or because they have fallen into the myth that blondes have more fun and are way hotter ( thus changing it ) . In opinion it really depends on the whole package not just the hair color . And please do not generalize people .

I think the concept centers around the myth that all women are stupid - blonde, brunette or red hair makes no difference. You don't encounter many men being the butt of such jokes - unless they're gay. Unfortunate, really...

Anyway, they have a saying in Hungary that God gave women one more brain cell than a chicken so she doesn't defecate on the floor. I think the blonde jokes are a bit kinder.

I think that stereotype originated in the 50's. Mostly do to Marilyn Monroe's flaky persona in her films, including one titled "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes". She was such an icon in that era and, I think that movie might have helped perpetuate the image of ditsy blondes, and yes perhaps the jelous brunette's might have helped. I wouldn't go so far as calling all brunettes dumb, ( I know thats not what you were saying) but if you want to be petty you can always call us brute-netts. J/k :P

I have never heard anyone separate bottle blonds from naturals blonds as so far as this myth goes. Maybe this should be something that we should give some thought too.

the only place ive seen dumb blonds was in california. but over there they were all dumb it didnt matter what hair color you had. around here most of the blondes i know had a 3.5-4.0 GPA in school. i didnt really like them because they annoyed the f*ck out of me. they were smart but annoying. i relly dont get where the dumb blond thing came from
