For boring straight hair, how do i curl it or make it interesting?

I have blond kind of longish medium hair right above my chest... and i try to curl it.

I try to use a curling iron and get it nice.

in 3 minutes it wears off already and i have my boring straight hair back.

Any addvise?

I have the same problem, or had it. When you curl it you must apply hairspray right after you curl it, I love Tresemme. And it's cheap. But make sure you do apply it from at least 12 inches away or else you'll well your style and it will droop. Also right after you curl it hold your curl up until it cools off. You can also try spraying hair spray on your hair before you curl and that works wonders. Also instead of just curling your hair to change it try some half-up half down styles, you really can change it up depending on how you arrange it.

Use a light hairspray after you finish curling it.

Also if you get layers cut in your hair it makes it a lot more interesting. You can do lots of stuff with them/

try using a really good hairspray like tresseme! its really good!

curl ur hair hot curling iron and CURL ACTIVATOR like Tre Semme. this is a must in ur case. after curling use any hair spray to hold the curls in place. dont wet ur hair with spray, keep the can some distance from ur curls. ENJOY

Ok, After you take your nightly shower, put styling mousse in your hair (Dove is the best) and braid fairly small braids in your hair. Then go to sleep. Then take the braids out in the morning and put some aussie hairspray on it, and it makes your hair wavy/curly!!! It lasts for a couple days.
