I have natural black hair. how do i dye my hair white (or platinum blonde)?

i am an asian. i don't want to dye all of my hair white/platinum blond, but only a few streaks. i know about bleaching, but i know that it can damage your hair very much. are there any ways to dye it without damaging it too much?

There are some lightening processes out there. Talk to your hair stylist if possible about what they think. Also, at the grocerie store you can buy just regular hair dye that isn't too strong. Research the products you buy first though to make sure they will suit your hair and aren't total crap. Yeah, you most definately don't want to bleachit all the way: it is an extremely painfull process. Also, you can get shampoo to help revitalize your hair and prevent damage. I would suggest anything Pantene (the god of shampoo).

dont go right to white or platnium blonde just yet. go for a lighter brown color and then to a blonde and then to your desired color. or just get your hair bleached.

The only way to achive black to blonde hair is by bleaching your hair - Witch by the way I dont reccomend because it ruins your hair ! Trying lightening it a few shades by going dark/Medium brown first the a shade lighter the next time by going medium/light blonde and then the following time go light blonde/ash blode and so on until you achive your desired color !

you have to bleach it first. So that your hair turns out scorched and orange that is what my hairdresser at the mall told me. I never tried it. I only got bronze highlights and they turned out fine on me.

leave it black. Asian hair is so pretty and shiny, why would you want to risk damaging it? I'm blonde and I'd kill to have shiny black hair! We always want what we don't have, don't we?
