yes but you need to dry it with a hair dryer. but i warn....you can not colour with a bleach dye after it if it goes wrong.

Shampoo hair first, then squeeze lemon on and then rinse with warm water. It should leave a lovely shine too

Yes, it will but it's very damaging to your hair since it keeps working until you wash it out, it's like leaving bleach on your hair for hours. Don't do it!!

the lemon contains a natural bleach when you go out into the sun but I have heard it is bad for your hair.

If you use a hair dryer on it. Its the heat that makes it lighter with the acids. It wont do it on its own. The heat of the sun in summer has the same effect on citric acids and hair.

its really bad for your hair and it will make it brassy(or orange)! if you want it lighter why dont you go to your salon and get some all over chunky blonde hi-lites..... at least that way you know what your gonna get, unlike haveing to guess with a lemon, and lemon juice really drys out your hair

I think you have to squeeze the lemon and then add water to it. Same amount of water to amount of lemon I think. Then pour it through sift to get the lumps out and then pour it in to a bottle that sprays out a fine mist. When you've done that spray the lemon evenly through your hair and sit in the sun for an hour or 2, then go wash your hair but when it comes to putting conditioner in your hair leave the conditioner on there for about 3 minutes and then wash it all out.

yes it will,but i will make it very dry so use a good conditioner after washing it out,do u know there is a product call "Sun In" u can get it in boots or something like that,u can get it in 3 different strenghts,but be careful i seen too many people distory there hair because of it!!! dont get carried away with the hairdyer tho,goodluck

I have done this before because i read somewhere that it makes hair shinier. After experimenting I found this to be true. I am a natural brunette however I have natural red and gold highlights which seem to vanish in winter. :%26lt;

After applying lemon juice I ound that by highlights have become more noticable and by hair a more coppery colour. So yeah give it a go. Just don't get it in your eyes!
