My Girlfriend used some temporary hair coloring 2 days ago and its is not washing out.?

Here hair was a natural dirty blond and she decided to just use a temporary hair color and try a shade of red, and needless to say she hates it and has washed it SO MUCH. it has come out in some parts and overall has faded but the hair is still a shade of pink in most areas especially around the bangs. She has been crying all day and her work is making her wear a hat ect, she is just falling into general depression and we need a good technique to remove this "temporary" color

It depends upon what type of temporary it was. My sister uses a temporary one that washes out in 8-10 days. It does. But they also have semi-permanent, which lasts 6 months. I would recommend just dying it her natural color again, because then you wouldn't have to worry about her roots not matching her hair.

aww. i know exactally how she feels. i tried that once. not a very good idea as you can see. mine came out totaly after about 10 days. if she needs it out like RIGHT NOW then go to a hair salon and they can get it out for her.

try dawn dish soap-- if not go to a beauty suply I know Sally's sells a temp remover but it costs loke $10

Some temporary hair colours take longer to wash out, but they can also stain your hair, it's not often that after using one your hair colour goes completely back to it's natural colour. I'd suggest that your girlfriend goes to the salon to get her hair dyed to the same colour as her roots. Or close enough to her natural colour. Hope this helped.

Keep washing, over and over...and use an abrasive shampoo.....like prell....and condition it like hell afterwards

I don't know maybe she should just go to a professional at a salon and see what they can do......i woulda never did that to my hair myself because i don't know what i'm doing

If it's not washing out, it's either a very good hair temporary hair dye, or it wasn't really a temporary one, but she thought it was. It also seems as if her place of work, has a hair color discrimination. Discrimination at any work place, is illegal and prohibited. I suggest bleaching the hair, and dying it permanently, a color other than red. My mother used to dye her hair. Whenever she went to a salon, instead of blonde her hair was red. Not what she wanted. So she switched to dying her own, and the brand she used was Garnier. She hasn't done that for 3 years, but she looked nice.
