No. Sadly color doesnt lift color, so you cant dye your hair black and then slap some blonde dye on top of it and pray it comes out blonde, haha. I wish it were that easy....

You're going to have to bleach. I'd say try a high lifting blonde dye (you can find them at beauty supply shops) but the chances of it actually working on already dyed (especially black) hair is low.

you really need to go to a salon so you make sure it gets done correctly. tell them that you dont want bleach(seeing your hair can easily break) and tell them to use a highlift color. that seems to work best

You can dye your hair blue black at home very easy.

I did for years.

You want blond underneath though, for that i would suggest going to a salon.

If you dye it all black,then bleach part of it blond you will cause severe damage to your hair.

For a job like that i would definatly go to a professional.

k, i dyed my hair auburn and got blonde peek-a-boo highlights. my hair was naturally a regular brown.

seriously, i went to a salon. but if you truly want to do it yourself, seperate the hair and do the blonde first. then do the black on the remainder of the hair.

and yea you cant get blonde without using bleach or maybe that lifting stufff ppl were talking about.

yes, its not going to be easy but first part your hair were you want the differ colors. Do the blonde first, dye,wash and dry your hair.Make sure to let the blonde sit in your hair for a while.Try not to get the other part of hair you haven't done yet wet. Then the same with the black. After you get the dye in,wrap you hair in surname wrap

Honestly its too complicated,as dying it black wiil be hell to lift to blonde and its really a job someone has to do for you.I mean im a(really good) hairdresser and i wouldnt be able to do this on my own as you cant see and foil packets are hell to manipulate in a mirror.

It shouldnt take a rocket scientist to do tho. and any money you think youll save probably wont be saved, by the time youve bought all the things you need.

Go to an apprentice training night somewhere where its supervised.and you shouldnt go wrong PLUS it will be cheap and it sounds very interesting so someone young and keen will jump into it for sure.

(you should try and bring some pictures even if they are just the colors you like ,not even on the same head/style is ok)

for the black you can use ANY black haircolour as you are darkening what you already have, for the blonde you will need to bleach i am afraid, NO OTC colour will lighten your hair that many levels, even most naturally dark blonde people need to bleach in order to get very light blonde, if you don't listen to me then i look forward to you asking a question on here saying "how do i get rid of my orange hair?" lol you DO need to bleach. oh and don't panic and take the bleach off too early as many people make the mistake of, hair goes through stages of lightening during the bleaching process which in your case starts with brown then red, orange/ginger then yellow then finally pale yellow, if your hair is really brown then it might take more than one bleachout to get your hair very light, if your hair is currently coloured then you will first need to use colourfix colour remover in order to take out the artficial pigment so that you have a blank canvas in order to bleach, this way will be the kindest on your hair.

Take it from someone who knows you physically cannot go from dark brown to blonde without using bleach and if you did do it yourself it would go ginger. The best thing would be dye your hair black then get blonde extensions! They are really easy to use, you can have real or acrylic hair and they can be attached in different ways, clips or glue and can be really cheap too!

Pleeeeeeeease do this or you'll totally wreck your hair!!!
