I hav very pale skin, with slightly pink cheeks. i have really light bruises under my eyes that i dont bother covering. my eyes are dark brown with kind of gold specks. My natural hair color is a cold meduim brown that looks slightly blond in the light but i've been dying it really yellow blond for a while but i need a change. Im thinking of dying it a cold dark brown but i'm not sure. does anyone have suggestions?

I have the exact skin tone and bruises as you but I don't have gold specks on my eyes. They're actually greenish specks. well anyway, my hair is red with chunky gold highlights. looks great. The hair is natural red but the highlights are artificial. Also I have some really thin copper highlights that you can also get put in but they're really thin and kinda blend but even though you can't see a difference you can still tell it looks better with the copper.

Spend as much time outdoors as possible. Nothing looks sexier that natural "dirty blonde" hair that's been sun bleached. You might try a good beautician to streak it for you.
Personally, I'd prefer the sun. Then, you'd get a nice tan too.

You have a few options. You can spend a lot of time outside and just let the color match itself. You can do a root touch up to match the color. Or, you can dye your hair to its natural color and not worry about it anymore.

if you going back to brown you need to put what is called a filler in it . something with red in it but a semi then put your brown over it other wise it will turn a greenish colour of brown and it looks wrong. i hope i helped you out

hi well when i used to have my hair highlighted then even went quite blonde, then wanted to grow it all out i asked my hairdresser what i should do as i didn't want that awful growing out look, (bad roots) so i had low lights instead its where they put loads of brown in as well and it looks fine while your growing it out.
however if you have just got a few highlights it might look fine to just grown them out naturally, Ive done this myself recently and its all natural now! until i colour again lol!

Don't color your hair. A good crew cut will work well. Shaving your head is opening a door you really don't want to go thru, especially if you're going to Africa. Hair growing back through your scalp can itch something terrible. Leave about 1/2 an inch for protection.
I do not know how long your hair is but if you want it short. You could cut off a leingth at a time... If you know you are good looking short go for it..
If you like the way you look bald go for that too. We are so supportive of anything besides the norm.
So consider a spiked hair cut. It will last for a few weeks and then you will feel normal again. Spikes are cool but you gotta run back every three weeks.. But try it out It just may be you. Who knows. Have a great time......

That's what I've had on and off for a few years. I do it with mine because I hate overprocessing all my hair at once, so I just let the bottom stay darker.

well it depends on how it makes you look. not saying that you cant pull it off but maybe you should try like a different color on top. cause when you dont like tha blond after a while it takes months to get tha blond out. when you go blond on top your bleaching you hair of course. if you decide to go darker it will not take like you might want it so i suggest that you try a different color. now for the black it kind of goes for tha same as blond but i dont recommend that you go black cause it also take a while to get tha black out. really when you go black you have to let it grow out cause if you try to put a lighter color latter on it wont take. so i suggest that you go with different colors that way later if you want to change it the colors that you want will take.

I had naturally curly long dark hair that I had highlighted to practically blond over a gradual period of time. Then, once the blond was wearing out, I had my hair permanently straightened. BIG mistake...This was about 6 months ago. Since then, I've been living hair hell. My question is....It's now half curly, half straight and I can see about 3 inches of new growth. Shouldn't there be more than 3 inches of new growth in 6 months time????
nope, that sounds about right. your hair growns about a half an inch a month. if i were you, i would consider cutting it. maybe to your shoulders. start using deep conditioner (joico) a couple times a week too, leaving in for 5+ minutes. stop styling it, and just let it be.

Get it professionally colored and then use shampoo for colored hair if you want it to last longer. However...hair color will always fade a little...you could go a little bit darker than you normally would and then it would fade to the color you prefer.

Most brands are very similar. The problem isn't the dye- it's your hair. Some hair just takes color better than others. Also, make sure you aren't shampooing for a while after coloring. You should be waiting 2 days at least.
If you aren't shampooing too soon your best bet would be to have a professional take a look at your hair and determine what would work.

Stick with natural colors, caramel, caf鑼?au lait or blonde shades.... Unnatural colors like purple, red, blue, green etc only look nice when paired with dark colors (preferably black) or very pale blonde. On light brown hair, it'll look like those easter chocolates with decorations... tasty, but you don't want that on your head. Otherwise it looks like kids who color their hair with kool-aid. Besides it's easier to fix a natural color than those other shades. I'd definitely opt for a nice warm honey or caramel shade. Little edgier than just blonde.

ZULU KNOTS! I am a hair stylist and have done this many times.
(best on long hair) Take a section of hair about 2in by 2in and spray until damp with a wet hairspray. Twist the hair until it looks like a rope then twist it back down over its self(it will look like spikes sticking off your head)secure with bobby pins. Allow to dry completely(you could do your make-up while you wait). When dry take it down and separate the curls with your fingers and spray with a aerosol dry spray. You now have a head full of curls which you can wear down, half up half down or all up-you decide. Curls will last till next shampoo. Good luck and have fun!!!!!!

The best way to add shape and life to long straight hair is to get layers put in, you can have the layers start long enough that you can still tie it up and it can still look sleek when straightened. Having layers will probably also help to keep curls in.

Try putting it in a loose bun with bobby pins on the top of your head. Then let some small pieces fall out of the bun, curl the ends, and spritz them with hairspray while they are still on the curling iron. They should stay.
Or right after you wash your hair, towel dry it and plait your entire head. Tie them off with elastics, and go to sleep like that. When you wake up in the morning, unod the plaits, finger comb (DONT BRUSH) or usea wide toothed comb. You will have cute waves
that will last. To make them last longer, use gel or spritz.
One long braid down your back is always nice, and even better if you put it into a knot.

Ohh I am here to help!! Okay I did my hair in this cool hanging updo last night. What you do take your hair into what could be a ponytail but instead of having all hair behind your ears have one side partly covering your ear and then the other totally covering it. Then instead of taking that hair into a ponytail have it in a side pony tail that's not starting at the bottom of your head but a bit higher, and use a big clip not a scrunchie. It really looks good !!
Also I like doing an uppie-downie bun which is when the front of your hair is in a bun but the back is still covering your neck!!

First of all, let me just say that I'm sure you're beautiful the way you are and the way your hair looks and I'm positive your boyfriend thinks the same...but since you want tip ideas and all here is what I got:
Try doing a half pony but part your hair in the middle and just pull hair from the SIDES in to the little pony instead of all of it.
Or...
Braid your hair in one long braid pulled to one shoulder or the other and pull some pieces out in the front to make it look loose but gorgeous. Simple but elegant.

Hey don't worry I'm jus the same as you i have long hair and its blonde and it changes on me too, but on blondes i like to get in the shower and wash my hair really good, and after i get out i use my towel to rub it a Lil dry and then i get some mouse and scrunch my hair and blow dry it and it'll still be curly but not much and then i have a spiral curler and spiral curl it and use mouse and scrunch it again and you have long lasting curls, also having straight with some hair up and curling whats up, hmm..maybe a cute french braid with ribbon at the bottom, ne thing really long hair you can do ne thing with and I'm running out of space so i gotta cut this short, but i hope that helps you some.
You could try putting it in a bunch of tiny braids when your hair is dry, wash it, then let it dry and take the braids out and brush your hair. Your hair will be very kinky (wavy) and it lasts all day.
well first you could put layers in your hair that would make your hair look different and also you say your curls fall out in 10 minutes it might be because your hair is long and the wieght pulls the curls out but you could try using paul mitchell hair spray it works really good it holds your hair really good and for a long time hope i helped..good luck

Ok, i've been using a mixture of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to help with my acne. My problem is I accidentally got some of the peroxide in my hair and on my eyebrows and it turned it almost blond. Will it ever go back to its original color?
Your eyebrows fall out and replace themselves just as the hair on your head does. Just give it some time and you should have some color coming back within two weeks. Have you also tried using proactive for the acne? It works on everyone I know that uses it. Anyhoo, just give your poor eyebrows some time and they will be back to normal....you poor thing!...lol. Yes!! When I was in my teens, I bought eyelash dye and the instructions told you to try it on your brows first. The dye was black and I am a blond. Now you got the picture. Well, I used bleach and peroxide to lighten it and eventually they went back to my normal color. Good luck.

Yes, once it grows, but depending on how much, it may limit the growth. I've used peroxide on my hair to lighten it, and the roots constantly come back dark brown, my natural hair color. It seems eye brows and eye lashes do continue to grow, but even slower than the average 1/2 " a month that hair on the head grows.
In time it won"t be as noticeable because as your hair grows your natual colour will blend with the other hair. You basically have 2 options, 1. Wait for it to grow and trim the bleach affected area. 2. Most hair salons could easily match the bleached area with your natural hair colour so that u dont have to wait for it 2 grow out. The cost should be very minimal. Also eyebrow hair is much finer in texture in comparison to our scalp so it will take a lot longer for that to return to normal. Just get a salon to colour match it for u. At least it will be back to normal. Just make sure you keep the bleach well away in future. Bleach to hair is like mineral turps to paint. Hope this helps.

is it safe to dye your hair every 2 or three months? my natural color is blond. last year i started getting highlights every 2 months, then i decided to die my hair light brown. 2 more months later i dyed my hair darker brown. now its been a month and next time i go in (1 month from now) i want to go red. everyone tells me that my hair is gonna fall out from dying it so much, i think they're joking but im not sure. im pretty sure by a year from now i will have had every color of the rainbow =]
If your hair is healthy then go ahead and dye all want. There is a possibility that your hair can fall out because dyeing makes hair dry. Dry hair is prone to breakage because there is a lack of moisture.
I personally wouldn't dye my hair that often but it's your hair...
It all comes down to your hair's strength. If you take care of your hair, the color isn't going to hurt it. You need to make sure you're using a deep conditioning treatment atleast once a week. Color can do a lot of damage, but as long as you're caring for it, go on and have fun!
I hate to be prudish about this, because it IS fun to try different colors, but the fact is: hair color dries the hell out of hair. If it doesn't look damaged now, it will over time. For me, semi permanents are almost as damaging as permanents.
If, however, you don't mind wearing your hair fairly short (above your shoulders), then you can probably get away with marathon dying. It may eventually come down to a trade off decision between length and having fun with color.

I have alittle over shoulder leigh hair and i dyed it redish brown (my natrual color is a brown) then a month later someone said i should get a spiral perm so i did that and i did not like it at all. So 1.5 weeks later as suggested i went and got a hair straightner and did that to get my hair to normal and then i went and gor cap blond highlights and put in a week later. Now my hair is pretty shot. Went i shower and my hair drys ( i let it dry natrually) My medium leigh hiar turns into a afro. I have to use a electric straightner to get it where its partly managable. I have extra thick hair. How do i get my hair back to normal and not so fryed out and poofy? Do i have to just let it grow or is there some treatment someone can suggest?

Yes, definitely have patience and let it grow out, its good you let it air dry, and don't dye it anymore at least until it is partially healed, brush it gently and use a good moisturizing conditioner after you shampoo, pantene pro-v works great for me.
Oil the hair and kep the oil inthe hair for 2 days!
Do this every week.
1) use a good moisturizing shampoo like Redken's light moisture. You must shampoo to let the conditioner in, but you don't have to strip your hair when shampooing...very important.
2) use a good deep conditioner at least 3 times a week. I like ION's conditioning pac from Sally's Beauty Store. If you can't get there, you can get John Friedman's Frizz Ease Step 2, which is a great deep conditioner.
3) On a daily basis, use a good moisturizing conditioner as well. I use Redken's Light Moisturizer, but you can probably use something heavier since you have thick hair.
4) Finish your daily conditioning with a glosser. Friedman's Frizz Ease Light Glosser is great for fine hair, but you can probably use the regular.
This will help while it grows out, but there's nothing that will take it back to its original state. We all learn this the hard way, so you're not alone.
If it were me I would have my hair trimmed, use plenty of conditioners even leave in conditioners, and let it grow out until it returns back to normal condition
Oh my gosh why would you do that to your hair? If you can, try and get a simple short cut and let it grow out. Once it's healthy again and grown out a little get some extensions.
Let it grow back out, and stop being pushed around my your so called friends.
There are wonderful conditioners out there for overtreated hair. If it were me, tho, I would first go to a reputable hair stylist and have them recommend what you should do with your hair. You may have to trim it, to get rid of the dry/split ends and then use a good treatment at home.
First of all go to a reputable hair salon and get it conditioned and try any other treatments they may to revive your hair. Try Keraphix Restorative Protein Creme Reconstructor and Textures By Ellin Lavar Penetrating Balm Deep Conditioning Leave-In Treatment. You can go to ulta.com it is an excellent place to shop and look for hair products. Don't do anything else to your hair no straightening or chemicals. Your hair is in shock right now so every night put in a leave-in conditioner and let it stay in over night and rinse it in the morning. Jessica Simpson does that with her hair because of all the styling and hair coloing she does. Try not to take alot of showers because it will wash away natural oils that your hair needs. Also, get your hair trimmed every five months. Try to get Reken hair styling supplies that nourishes you hair so you can fix it up. One more thing try Professional Scalp Treatment by Murad. I have med brown hair and colored it with loreal creme coloring using an ash blond color to get rid of greys and to lighten it. The result is a lighter brown color, I like it ok, but also want blond highlights, how long should I wait to do it and is it ok to do. I would probably have that done professionally.

I'm a hair color pro, my hair has been every single shade and mistake you can imagine. How about orange hair with blonde streaks or even better pink hair with brown? lol. I can definitely help you. You can do it yourself and you can go blonde again.
First you need to buy a hair color remover, Revlon makes one it's about $8.00 at Walmart, you can also buy expensive ones at Sally Hansen or beauty salons and they are honestly no different except price. Put the remover on and follow the instructions, I believe it's 30, 60, and 90 minute increments for different colors, so since yours is so dark you'd need at least 60-90 minutes, the hair stripper will leave your hair a sick orange/blonde color, that is natural, your hair is now stripped of all color and will color evenly. You need a dark blonde, you can't go super light unless you use the stripper 2 times, 2 boxes, I would not recommend that it makes your hair too brittle. So dye dark blonde, Color Silk or Open colors the most evenly, then I would use Loreal La Petite highlights to add in the lighter blonde streaks. After awhile, 6-8 weeks then you can go to blonde blonde again with 1 box of some kind of dye you want to use and it will color evenly as the natural proteins will be back in your hair. Now, you want to deep condition it after all that coloring, I would recommend Cure Care from Sally Hansen, put it on, leave it on for 20 minutes, then rinse it out, you're hair will be soft and feel really silky and you will be good to go. The whole package will cost, $8.00 color removed, $4.00 for Open or Color Silk (Walmart sells all of these except the Cure Care), and $8.00 for the La Petite, so all in all it's about $20.00 and probably 2-3 hours of your time to do all of that. If you can't get the cure care, it's 6.00 a bottle at Sally Hansen and is the best, use something with silk proteins in it and leave it on a good 20 minutes.

the best thing you can do is let it grow again... i'm a brunette and i dyed my hair semi-blind and I regreted it the moment I steped out of the salon.. so i dyed it brown agoin and it just fade away... i let it grow and now i'm happier because I don't depend on dyes to keep my color

I think you would be better off going professional. It is hard to get blonde hair back. It will just keep turning orange. My mom is a blonde and she dyes her hair like once a month and she can never get it back blonde. She had to go to a salon and get it stripped first then they dyed it back to her blonde color the best they could.
for now stick with the brown and then deep condition your hair once a week until it is extremely healthy, and then you would have to bleach your hair, since you already have color. as for your roots i'd say you have to go to a professional. it's gonna cost a lot mof $ for your color correction since they'd have to bleach your root up to a light brown and then tone it. i wouldnt suggest going just yet
you may want to let your hair grow out ,or at least let the dye get old before you try any thing else right because you don't want to end up with what I call clown hair that's when you pretty much have every color in the crayon box in your hair.

There are nonpermenant hair colors that your parents might let you try. You have to be careful not to apply heat though because it could set the color. But since you have light blonde hair you have to be very careful because you can stain it. And it might not stain a pretty color. Sometimes we have to accept what we were born with until we are adults.

It sounds to me like you are warm. For brown eyes, use green or violet eye shadow. Never match your eye shadow to your clothes, always match it to your eyes/skin. For the hair, dark blond would look best. Your coloring sounds a lot like my sister, and that is what looks best on her.

No. Sadly color doesnt lift color, so you cant dye your hair black and then slap some blonde dye on top of it and pray it comes out blonde, haha. I wish it were that easy....
You're going to have to bleach. I'd say try a high lifting blonde dye (you can find them at beauty supply shops) but the chances of it actually working on already dyed (especially black) hair is low.
you really need to go to a salon so you make sure it gets done correctly. tell them that you dont want bleach(seeing your hair can easily break) and tell them to use a highlift color. that seems to work best

yes, its not going to be easy but first part your hair were you want the differ colors. Do the blonde first, dye,wash and dry your hair.Make sure to let the blonde sit in your hair for a while.Try not to get the other part of hair you haven't done yet wet. Then the same with the black. After you get the dye in,wrap you hair in surname wrap

for the black you can use ANY black haircolour as you are darkening what you already have, for the blonde you will need to bleach i am afraid, NO OTC colour will lighten your hair that many levels, even most naturally dark blonde people need to bleach in order to get very light blonde, if you don't listen to me then i look forward to you asking a question on here saying "how do i get rid of my orange hair?" lol you DO need to bleach. oh and don't panic and take the bleach off too early as many people make the mistake of, hair goes through stages of lightening during the bleaching process which in your case starts with brown then red, orange/ginger then yellow then finally pale yellow, if your hair is really brown then it might take more than one bleachout to get your hair very light, if your hair is currently coloured then you will first need to use colourfix colour remover in order to take out the artficial pigment so that you have a blank canvas in order to bleach, this way will be the kindest on your hair.
Take it from someone who knows you physically cannot go from dark brown to blonde without using bleach and if you did do it yourself it would go ginger. The best thing would be dye your hair black then get blonde extensions! They are really easy to use, you can have real or acrylic hair and they can be attached in different ways, clips or glue and can be really cheap too!

first of all you really look very sweet...
i would recommend highlights.... 'coz totally strawberry may make you look totally differenct from what you are now and doesnt go well with all dresses and not specially for all ocassions.... where as hightlights blend into your hair and make you look trendy too...

I would put red copper highlights cause everybody has blond hilites, red, caramel, hot pink. Try it! it also fades to a nice shade.

i wouldn't mess with your hair for a little longer....color fades in time anyways...but i dye mine every 3 months and recently a bunch of mine broke off.... and that was about 6 weeks or more ago.... mine wasn't as drastic of color change , just from dark blonde to brighter blonde.... give it some time, or just ask your hairdresser.

Fresh squeezed lemon juice might work alone but you can also try fresh sqeezed lemon juice and peroxide and hydrogen peroxide plus sunlight is a way to lighten your hair but I think you should be VERY CAREFUL HOW MUCH YOU USE! It also depends on the color of your hair already....It is going to take some time...I also suggest that your TEST A PIECE FIRST. Do not pour it all over your head...you will look a mess if you do.
Another alternative is Rhubarb - You can safely lighten your hair color by using rhubarb juice. Put approximately 1/4 cup into a spray bottle, apply it evenly to your hair, and spend 15 to 20 minutes in the sunlight. It enhances and speeds the effect of natural sun-bleaching. Another alternative you might use is a shampoo made by Yves Rocher called "Phyto Reflet" that enhances natural highlights for blond hair. But I have brown hair, and this shampoo made my hair lighter and it looks much better. I really recommend this shampoo. It costs $5. Vinegar is another alternative. This is more of an anti-tip. Don't use beetroot juice or any vinegar-based solution in attempts to lighten hair. I tried and it does work, but it really dries out hair. So after you do this process make sure you have some conditioner or other products that promote moisture. Me personally I have done the peroxide and the lemon juice. I have even experimented with real bleach. I wouldn't do the real bleach.....It strips your hair completely. A beautician told me not to ever do that again because I could have easily made all of it come out. If you are going to try any of the ideas above please test a piece first. HOWEVER, I WOULD JUST GO THE SALON. YOUR HAIR REPRESENTS YOU. IT CAN MAKE YOUR BREAK YOU IN A LOT OF WAYS. PLEASE BE CAREFUL.

Just straight lemon juice and a hair dryer or better yet a sunny day. Spray a mist of lemon juice and let the sun or dryer do the rest - it may look a little orange at first but as it continues to fade it will be a soft brown don't repeat too much or it will be blond.
I've tried lemon juice, but you need to get out in the sun with that, and it takes time. If you use peroxide (the 33 cent stuff) and blowdry, do that every couple days, it's very gradual but works and is permanent. I do two strips of my bangs cuz it looks cool:)

red is the hardest color to get rid off, there will always be some red shine left. only at a salon they can get rid of it but if you dont want to go to a salon and spend a lot of money, you can color it yourself with very dark brown color.
At most salon stores they have a product called(red out) try using a lighter brown color with a neutral base and using that in the product......if you do it yourself.....if not you may have to go to another salon and have it fixed
see what is the base color of the color u have used. its on the back of container. if its blue, then used a color that base is orange-if red, used a green base color, purple, used a gold or yellow base. it u try this your hair will turn neutral; meaning brown. or you can do a hold new color -which going to need a higher volume.
Use a product called red out. If not use any color similar but with an ash tone in it. Ash kills the golden or reddish look. U should get it done professionally if unsure. Hope this helps =)

Well if your talking about bleaching it blonde, there should be directions on the bottle. But if you want to make it a different color, go to a store to buy hair dye in temperary, semi-permanet, and permanet.
you take bleach and put it in your hair but my brother bleached his hair and now it looks like if you poke it a huge chunk will come off because it is so fralie so just dye you hair a different color

well i was planning on buying a chamomile shampoo to lighten my hair just a little bit, i have dark brown hair. will it lighten my hair a lot? cuz i dont want it to turn blond or anything lol, i just want it a little bit lighter.
It will lighten it up a shade or two. But not anymore than that and not right away. You'll notice a few auburn tones by the time you get to the bottom of the bottle.
this will not lighten it, the only way to achieve this is either by sun. lemon juice. or hair dye

I recently had blond highlights added to my "virgin" brown hair. I have heard that if you use a semi permanent on treated hair it will never wash out completely, which is good because I do want to permanently darken the highlights BUT I dont want to permanently change my natural color.

well hair color is not really "permanent" since your hair grows continuously. Your highlights (along with the rest of your hair) will grow out and in a few months, will be long enough for you to cut the colored part of your hair off, and you will be back to your natural color. You just have to wait it out.
Yes, semi permanent dyes wash out in around 4-6 weeks depending on how you wash your hair.
Semi-perm still means there are dyes in it so it will not all wash out.
and it stays in highlighted or dyed hair.
semi [meaning not completely] permanent usually does wash out, check out the label on the coloring agent you used and it should give you an estimate, by washes, how long it'll take for it to wash out. like box coloring agents usually wash out in 20+ washes, and a mousse coloring agent will wash out in about 8 washes.
and if it doesnt, there's always the option of letting your hair grow out %26amp; cutting it.

no not really. since it has been exposed to color whether permanent of semi it may never be the same color it was.. being in the sun will even change the hue of the color but u will be able to tell when the color is gone because it wont have the same bright color it did before..
semi however does come out most of the time because the hair grows and the constant washes rinses it out

How can I stop coloring my hair? I have colored it since I was 13, I am 29 now. I seriously color it twice a month even if I like the color. My natural hair color is a dark ash blond with blond highlights, I really just want to grow it out an leave it alone - any suggestions?
If you keep it up then your hair will snap off while you are getting your next coloring.
If I were you I would seriously shave it off. Your hair must be sooooo unhealthy!
If you will definately not shave it then get a rejuvinating hair mask and use it twice a week.

As for the coloring addiction, just be aware how unhealthy it is for your hair to be over, over processing it like that and the results will be very unfortunate if you don't stop soon.
wow. that's not good for your hair. you should dye it ONE more time as close as you can get it to you natural hair color...then when it grows out to a length that isnt oo short for you, cut the dye off and go natural.
I had an addiction to dyeing my hair too, you should stop because after a while it will get extremely damaged and it might possibly fall out. It also depends what color you dye it because if you dye it lighter (such as being a brunette and dying it to blonde) the peroxide will damage your hair from the bleaching. If you go darker however, the chemicals are gentler on your hair and you wont have much damage. As far as growing it out though, I know it sucks because your hair is two-toned for a while but its worth it once it grows out and your hair is healthy again.
I think I have the same problem. I randomly get the urge to go back to my natural color (which is about the same color as yours) so I just dye my hair a color that's very close to my natural color. When it grows out, you won't even be able to tell where the dyed hair begins if you get a good enough color match.
I would go to the hair dresser and get your hair dyed as close to your natural color as possible.
Then when you get the craving to dye it, just wait and see if the feeling passes. Distract yourself. Also, don't go down the aisle in the stores that sells dye. You don't want to tempt yourself. Try substituting this habit for experimenting with nail polish or lipstick.

When I was younger, my hair was a dark dirty blond color. I now have brunette hair. I miss my blond hair a lot and my mom is a hair dresser, so she can do my hair whenever. I have fair skin, that CAN TAN. I have bluish-greenish eyes. I am 12 and please tell me if I would look good blond. Also, please include or exclude the blond shades I should( or should not) get. wow you are almost like me haha. I have fair skin ( but cant tan) and green eyes. When i was little i had almost platinum blonde hair and it gradually got darker until it turned light brown. i really missed my blonde hair so i went to the hairdresser and now i think it looks really good. My advice would be to not go too light. definitley not platinum or ash blonde. I would stick with a medium golden tone and then add some highlights or lowlights. good luck!

You sound like you have the right skin tone for blonde hair but if you have dark eyebrows you'll probably have to get them dyed too so they look good

ummm yeah i would put up a picture for us to see. its hard to tell by the description. but yeah fair skin looks nice on blondes. and the light eyes and everything will go nicely.

Firstly if you are not a natural blonde (which you are not anymore) by peroxiding your hair it will drastically damage it and you are still young, so take into consideration that if you start nowyou'll have to redo it every month from now on, which is ALOT of damage and soon your hair will start to fall out and thin and you could risk going bald.
You need to deep condition your hair atleast once a week and its alot of time and effort.
At the end of the day Your hair will look very unhealthy and ppl will be able to see you are not a natural blonde.
Plus you should be gorgeous already dark hair and blue eyes is always a winner, and its much more uncommon than blonde hair blue eyes which makes you stand out because its such a controst to each other.
Id stick with the dark hair,

Here hair was a natural dirty blond and she decided to just use a temporary hair color and try a shade of red, and needless to say she hates it and has washed it SO MUCH. it has come out in some parts and overall has faded but the hair is still a shade of pink in most areas especially around the bangs. She has been crying all day and her work is making her wear a hat ect, she is just falling into general depression and we need a good technique to remove this "temporary" color
It depends upon what type of temporary it was. My sister uses a temporary one that washes out in 8-10 days. It does. But they also have semi-permanent, which lasts 6 months. I would recommend just dying it her natural color again, because then you wouldn't have to worry about her roots not matching her hair.
aww. i know exactally how she feels. i tried that once. not a very good idea as you can see. mine came out totaly after about 10 days. if she needs it out like RIGHT NOW then go to a hair salon and they can get it out for her.

Some temporary hair colours take longer to wash out, but they can also stain your hair, it's not often that after using one your hair colour goes completely back to it's natural colour. I'd suggest that your girlfriend goes to the salon to get her hair dyed to the same colour as her roots. Or close enough to her natural colour. Hope this helped.
Keep washing, over and over...and use an abrasive shampoo.....like prell....and condition it like hell afterwards

If it's not washing out, it's either a very good hair temporary hair dye, or it wasn't really a temporary one, but she thought it was. It also seems as if her place of work, has a hair color discrimination. Discrimination at any work place, is illegal and prohibited. I suggest bleaching the hair, and dying it permanently, a color other than red. My mother used to dye her hair. Whenever she went to a salon, instead of blonde her hair was red. Not what she wanted. So she switched to dying her own, and the brand she used was Garnier. She hasn't done that for 3 years, but she looked nice.
